At the core, this is a crime prevention ministry. TLH is a faith-based, 12 Step Residential Christian Recovery Program for men re-entering society from prison. They want to create a stable environment that gives these men the opportunity to rebuild their lives through residential stability, increasing their skill levels and/or income, and obtaining greater moral integrity. They provide spiritual and mental health counseling, addiction education, case management, life and anger management, a safe and clean, alcohol/drug free residential environment, and transportation assistance.

NICARAGUA FEEDING
Spiritually and physically feeding children.
Malnutrition is a serious health problem in Nicaragua. Twelve Churches, with the help of church leaders provides a nutritious meal five days a week to 300 children in the communities of Leon, Nicaragua. Many of the products served in the feeding centers are now being grown at Campo Sagrado, the farm Twelve Churches began in 2018.

Many of the children in the feeding centers do not live in Christian homes. Their lunch is a lively, fun time of fellowship with pastors or volunteers. The children are learning about Christ and his love for them through songs, Bible stories, and prayer. Through children’s presentation and family visits, the local churches are able to reach families in their communities for Christ. Entire families have come to know Christ through these little ones. These programs are located in churches supported by Twelve Churches. Your gifts can do the following: $17 Feed a Child for one Month; $51 Feed a child for three months; $204 Feed a child for one year.

TWELVE CHURCHES
Equipping and empowering the local Nicaraguan church.
We work alongside the local Nicaraguan churches to encourage, train and equip pastors and their congregations. By building a strong foundation of theological teaching and preaching, we believe these congregations and lay leaders will grow in spiritual maturity, empowering them to reach the lost and hurting people in their communities. We believe that lasting change comes from the power of Jesus Christ - not from our own hands. God will work through these churches for the glory of God's Kingdom.

UMCOR DISASTER RELIEF
Provide resources and equip communities and individuals to prepare, respond and recover from disasters.
The Killearn UMC Disaster Relief ministry is designed to be prepared to find the best ways to help in the event of a disaster. Members of our church are trained as Early Response Teams who enter a disaster zone at the invitation of local emergency management officials and offer a Christian presence in the midst of disaster. Spiritual Response Teams are trained to provide spiritual and emotional care following disasters. We reach out to help disaster survivors connect with basic life resources.
